SQRAMBLED SCUARES is a fast, fun, and challenging game played between two contestants who rely on luck, strategy, and skill. Each contestant begins the show with 100 points. The starting points are used for strategic play while they alternate from each other in picking numbers from a wall of numbered squares or placing letters (at a point cost) from previously revealed letters. Behind the chosen squares are local prizes, extra points, and letters that are used to unscramble a celebrity's name, a place, a title, an event, or a thing. When a letter is revealed, the contestant receives ten points for each consonant and twenty points for each vowel in addition to any other bonus points that may have also been revealed. That letter is then placed onto the Descrambler Board in the word that it belongs but in the order that it was revealed. The first contestant to unscramble that set of Sqrambled Scuares with the correct answer, wins the prizes that he/she revealed during that game and they also steal 100 points from their competitor. The show continues with another set of Sqrambled Scuares as the contestants continue to accumulated points. After two puzzles, the contestant with the most points wins a cash prize and a trip to Super Sqramble in pursuit of additional cash and prizes. Now, Super Sqramble is just down right fun, the contestant has 60 seconds to unscramble a 9 to 10 letter word with a little help from the host. as the clock ticks down to 45 seconds and then to 30 seconds, the host tells the contestant where a letter falls inside the word at each mark. If the contestant is able to unsqramble the word inside the allotted time, they win the big cash prize. However, if they are unable to give the correct answer, the other contestant will be asked if they can unsqramble the squares - if the second contestant is correct, then he or she wins half of the original cash prize.
